the PRESERVATION PROCESS

Transportation

To ensure peak freshness, I require your wedding flowers 1-2 days after your wedding day. You can choose to express ship your flowers or arrange an in person drop off.

If possible, I always recommend assigning your flower drop off or express shipping to a trusted friend or family member, so you can focus on being newly married.

I will provide you and your assigned person with detailed instructions on how to care for your flowers the night of your wedding, during transport and how to package and ship your flowers safely.

Once I receive your flowers, I will begin the drying process. The method of drying is different depending on the preservation piece you choose (resin or pressed frame). A skillful drying process is crucial for both methods. If the flowers aren’t completely dried, your flowers will rot, and your preservation will be ruined. For this reason, I dry your florals for at least four weeks through a special process that perfectly preserves the delicate petals, shape and even colour of your monumental blooms.

Drying

Design

Once your flowers are completely dried, it will be time for you to choose your layout! I will send you multiple starting options to choose from and make adjustments as needed. Once you’ve selected your design, I will finalize your pieces.

Every time I look at your wedding flowers, I think about the story that lead you to your wedding day.
